A partner in patient care
At Advanced Infusion Care, we apply a team approach to intravenous (IV) and subcutaneous (SubQ) immunoglobulin therapy patient care. Collaboration between physicians and the nationally accredited AIC home infusion team ensures the consistent delivery of patient-specific, specialized in-home infusion services to patients across the country, helping to improve outcomes—and lives.
A team approach to Ig care
Every AIC patient has 24/7 access to a dedicated team of clinical and support staff, including:
- Clinical pharmacists: Address patient care needs and provide professional assistance in the selection of Ig products that meet the healthcare conditions (e.g., primary immune deficiency disease, autoimmune disorders, transplant, dysmotility) and restrictions of each individual patient.
- Infusion nurse specialists: AIC nurses certified in intravenous and subcutaneous medication administration provide in-home infusion care along with self-infusion and infusion pump training, providing assurance to providers and confidence to patients.
- Intake managers: Review and check benefits for every AIC patient, gathering all documentation needed for clinical or payer approvals. Intake managers call patients within 24 hours of receiving referrals to let patients know they’re working on verifying benefits.
Nurses who exceed expectations
We have more than 100 fully certified and highly trained nurses on staff, all of whom are committed1 to doing more to provide the best possible care for patients. On-staff nurses provide care to 97% of AIC patients.
To enhance patient safety, AIC nurses give self-infusion and infusion pump training to all patients and caregivers, and provide annual safety retraining for all SubQ patients. All nurses wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in patients’ homes and are trained to handle adverse events during patient visits.
To enable continuity of care, AIC nurses provide ongoing communication with physicians, confirming all orders have been followed. Our staff is available 24/7 by phone, and can refer patients to other healthcare services as needed.

AIC is contracted with multiple Ig suppliers for long-term supply agreements to help guarantee product availability and onboard more patients.

Dually accredited by URAC and the Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC), AIC is regularly inspected by national and state boards of pharmacy and is a member of the Immunoglobulin National Society (IgNS).

For providers, AIC is a partner in patient management, including patient onboarding and seamless transitions to Ig treatment in the clinic or in the patient’s home. We work with patients, insurance companies and office staff to secure all needed authorizations and complete clinical paperwork.
